STOMPer Clare was appalled to see this young girl stubbornly sitting in the Reserved seat, even when an elderly man boarded the train and reprimanded her for not giving up the seat. The STOMPer wrote: "I was on the circle line heading towards HarbourFront around 930pm when this student sitting on the reserved seat was reprimanded by an elderly man for not giving up her seat for him. "She had no shame at all and continued sitting on the seat, staring at her blackberry the whole time with an indignant look on her face. "Even though the man raised his voice and attracted everyone's attention, she just continued to sit down. "She answered the man's question of whether she was from a primary or secondary school and said 'primary.' "But I doubt she's from a primary school. "It is unclear what school she is from. "The girl got off at Caldecott station. "Youths these days are really beyond rude and have no respect for their elders! "She didn't even consider the fact that she was in school uniform and was affecting the school's image."
